A former security officer was assassinated in Shahaimih suburb at Waset.

Iraqi National-Luna / Waset Office /A Iraqi police source in Kut city said that unknown armed men assassinated a security officer from former regime at a rank of lieutenant in Shahaimih town, north of Kut city, the source informed Iraqi National correspondent (WNA) that the unknown gunmen managed to assassinate a former security officer, pointing that the gunmen managed to escape after carrying out the operation.
